It has been awhile

It has been a hard year for us, Sarah has had been put under for surgery or medical procedures 3 times this year and is having another surgery on this monday at riverton hospital.

Other then that we have moved to Riverton and live with Keiths mom, some of his siblings, and neices and nephews. We have a neice due in January and the family is having fun wrapping up presents for Emily. We are all looking forward to her arival near the end of January.

Keith is looking on getting back to school to finish his college education, and Sarah is working on chrocheting and looking forward to her neice teaching her how to weave a scarf wusing straws and yarn. she is going to make hats and scarfs through the year to donate to IHC's Christmas donation drive. She is also working on getting on with Riverton hospital as a volenteer while she goes back to school with her medical assistin degree and getting certified as a phlebotomist.

We both are looking forward to the new year and see what it brings us. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

The Past Week

Well, this past week has been an adventure in life's "adventures". As Sarah has already said she has been sick with severe bronchitis or pneumonia. Its been rough with Sarah being sick, however she is now starting to get better which is great. Hopefully Sarah will be able to fully recover completely soon. Work has and is always an interesting time, currently we are understaffed and have finished another seminar week. Looking forward to things slowing down at work.

Pneumonia and Hypertension

On the 13th of September I was diagnosed with Pneumonia. When we were there my vitals were not very good. I have some major Hypertension. As I was beign treated for the Pneumonia, the Hypertension remained high. On Friday, I was officially diagnosed with Hypertension. This week I spent the week worried about my breathing and my blood pressure. Now I feel like a stressed out pill popper. I am looking forward to being able to get out of the house and get some exercise. Keith has been great in taking care of his sick wife, though the many doctor apointments and the couphing up a lung. I am greatful for his love and support.

One of these days Keith will post something on our blog... Yes Keith, this is to call you on reading and no comments :-)

Baptism and playing makeovers

Our Niece came over for the weekend and we were able to take her to the baptism of a boy in our ward. I was amazed at how all the kids ran up to the font as he entered with his father. All the kids (including Caty) all sat right up against the glass as he was baptized. When this young man was confirmed all the kids sat on the front row to watch. As we left Caty started making plans for her baptism that will be in the next year. I was touched by the impact this had on her. I am really thankful that this very mature young man welcomed us to attend his baptism. I love how one hour out of our lives has been able to leave

After the baptism we hung out and watched movies all afternoon. We also were able to play doing makeovers on each other. I got to teach Caty some tricks on being able to get out those annoying tangles that bring tears to the eyes. Then Caty got her turn to do my hair. Even though when we started my hair was damp, at the end it was saturated( I learned a great lesson to never give a 7 year old girl a spray bottle full of water). Her goal was to have my hair look just like Violet's hair off of the movie "The Incredibles" (I think it was more like "Cousin It")
together we decided that tomorrow we are going to do our hair the same for church. We get to get all dressed up, have our hair all done nice.

I wonder what things we will come up with next month to do.

Life and Organization

Life has been crazy busy the last few weeks. As Keith is getting over a virus and I am nursing my injured tendon. we have been working on getting more organized in the house. This past weekend we moved around furniture in the kitchen and living room, this next week We are doing the same in the bedroom. I am working on ways to get the house to run more smoothly and to cut back on the amount of housework. I just wish there was a way to keep your house from never getting dirty.

I am starting to look to go back to work. I am just getting to the point where I cant take sitting around the house. As soon as I can walk around pain free, I am going to go back to work. Part time or full, I need to get out and do more then clean house.

This weekend we have our niece Caty for the weekend. We will make sure we take tons of photos and post them to the blog at the end of the weekend.

Plants and Injuries...

As many already know, I injured my Achilles tendon about a week and a half ago. As frustrating as it has the pain been, the worst part is being stuck down with my right foot in the air. I am learning quick how boring it can be to be stuck on the couch in front of the television (I am really getting sucked into the Caylee Anthony case in Florida). the one thing I am looking forward to is being able to get my house work caught up and to be able to get it more organized. One thing that I know my husband will sigh at is that I am planning on moving all the furniture around in the house.

During the last week or not being able to get around, my veggie plants that we had in planters on our balcony died because I was unable to water them. My Strawberry plants and maybe my tomato plant may be able to be saved. But the rest have all passed on to well lets call it plant heaven. When the season changes I want to get more plants for the house. I love the scent that they bring into the home. with not having kids it will give me something to care for.

Geneology and Photos

I have noticed that we dont have enough photos of us or of family. So, I grabbed the digital camera and started snapping pictures. I plan on taking the camera alomng to get pictures of family as well. I have learned while doing our geneology that photos are priceless to pass down to future generations.

We plan on adding the pictures to our family record on our website and to pass them on to Grandpa Sam for his record. You can visit our website at http://ourfamily.selfip.net/. We try keep it updated with all the information and

documentation that we find researching. If you have any
information/pictures of anyone feel free to email them
to us at sarah.stout@hotmail.com. We welcome emails family and friends as well. We love keeping up with everyone.

We love everyone.....
